But rather than just pulling up the design file and building another one, we thought why not see if we can give the old design a face lift and a bit of style! So this time we’ve upped the ratio to give it a bit more grunt, fitted ceramic bearings to the blender shaft to cope with the insanely high RPM’s it spins at, and gave the frame some nice curvy lines.
WA Country Health will be using this blender as an engagement tool. They’ll be taking it out into communities as part of a program to teach kids about healthy eating. We recon that’s pretty darn cool!
